How LinguaWall works
Everything you need to set up your wall screen, use voice commands, and manage your subscription.
Voice commands
Your wall screen listens for the wake word "Hey LinguaWall." Once it hears it, speak a command — no touching required.

Setting up a wall screen

Mount your LCD
Install the screen in the zone where staff need translations — kitchen line, expo pass, dish pit, etc.

Connect a mini-PC or stick
Plug a Chrome/Edge-capable device into the screen's HDMI port. Connect a USB microphone.

Open the wall screen URL
Navigate to the wall screen page and sign in with your LinguaWall account. The screen auto-registers itself.

Enable kiosk mode
Add ?kiosk=1 to the URL to hide controls for a clean, wall-mounted display.

Turn on voice
Tap the mic button before entering kiosk mode. Allow microphone access when prompted.

Assign a zone
Use Manage Screens to label each screen and assign it to the right zone. Zone changes push live to the screen.

Why subscriptions can't be shared
Each LinguaWall subscription is bound to one establishment. Here's how that works:
- Monthly plan: Up to 3 wall screens per subscription. New screens beyond the limit see a "device limit reached" message and won't activate.
- Annual plan: Unlimited wall screens within a single establishment — cover every zone without counting.
- Establishment binding: When you subscribe, your account is tagged with your restaurant's legal entity name. Every screen you register is bound to that establishment.
- No cross-location sharing: A screen registered under one account can't be moved to another establishment. To free a slot, release the screen from Manage Screens.
